Preserve and Enhance the Quality of our Lakes
Preserve and enhance the quality of our lakes!
Big Pine Lakes, located in Aitkin and Pine counties, consists of two lakes connected by a channel. The north lake is generally known as BIG PINE LAKE or North Big Pine Lake. The south lake is called PINE LAKE or South Big Pine Lake. The river flowage into the south end of Pine Lake is the start of the Pine River system. Then the Pine River flows out of the north end of Big Pine Lake at the dam.
